Abstract : A modified low pass maximally flat inverse Chebyshev filter is suggested in this paper, and is shown to have improvement over previous known Chebyshev filters. The coefficients of this modified filter, using a higher order polynomial with multiplicity of the dominant pole-pair, have been determined. The pole locations and the Qfactors for different orders of filters are tabulated using an optimization algorithm.
